MEDIC Regional Blood Center is a not-for-profit blood service, founded in 1958. MEDIC operates three drawing centers across the Eastern Tennessee, supplying a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood products to hospitals in Tennessee and Kentucky. MEDIC is the only U.S. blood center which has a Blood Coverage Program covering members’ blood supplier processing fees at any hospital in the country.
